Actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati’s premium tequila brand, Loca Loka, has officially landed in Bengaluru, marking another milestone in its India rollout. The brand has been gaining momentum since it first appeared in international markets and is now taking its place among the rapidly expanding premium spirits scene in the country.
Loca Loka was co-founded by Daggubati along with music composer Anirudh Ravichander and entrepreneur Sree Harsha Vadlamudi. It is a 100 percent agave tequila that blends Mexican distillation tradition with a creative Indian spirit — a concept reflected in its name, where Loca (Spanish for “crazy”) meets Loka (Sanskrit for “world”).
The brand first made its mark abroad before coming home, launching in the United States in 2024 and securing shelf space in other international markets. Bengaluru is the latest city to get the product alongside Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad, bringing the Blanco and Reposado tequila variants to discerning drinkers and premium bar scenes here.
This move is part of Loca Loka’s broader strategy to establish itself as a craft-driven name in the premium alcohol category. The brand previously secured significant investment to support its growth plans and is using that backing to expand distribution and experience-led activations across India’s major urban centres.
As tequila continues to find a growing fan base among urban consumers, Loca Loka’s entry into Bengaluru reflects that shift — bringing a product with international accolades and a story that appeals beyond just flavour, tying together craftsmanship, culture and narrative in one bottle.
