Known for its large-scale wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work, Anant Ambani’s Vantara has now entered Mumbai’s premium dessert market with the launch of Vantara Creamery. The new venture marks an unexpected yet interesting expansion of the brand into the artisanal food space.
The launch took place at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive, where visitors were introduced to the brand through a specially designed ice cream truck experience. The creamery debuted with 17 artisanal flavours, focusing on small-batch production and indulgent ingredients.
Vantara Creamery is positioning itself in the ultra-premium dessert category, with reports suggesting that the ice creams are crafted using A2 Gir cow milk and are inspired by rich, nostalgic Indian flavours. The brand appears to be targeting consumers looking for luxury food experiences that combine quality ingredients with exclusivity.
The move also reflects the growing popularity of artisanal and experience-led food brands in India. As urban consumers increasingly gravitate toward premium and niche culinary offerings, brands are exploring new ways to blend storytelling, lifestyle, and food culture into a single experience.
