The Glenwalk — the premium Scotch whisky brand co-founded by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt alongside Cartel Bros — is amplifying its presence in India’s spirits market with the launch of its all-new Dominance range of Scotch whisky variants. This move marks a strategic shift toward stronger, more character-driven expressions that appeal to discerning whisky drinkers.
Unveiled first in Maharashtra, the Dominance portfolio introduces drinks bottled at higher alcohol strengths — including 48 % and 43 % ABV options — offering richer taste profiles and a more intense whisky experience than the brand’s original lineup.
The 48 % ABV set includes three age-labelled expressions: a 7-year, 5-year, and 3-year variant. While the older expressions lean into deeper smoky and oak-influenced flavour notes from extended ageing, the younger 3-year version is crafted for creamy smoothness and easy sipping. The 43 % options — featuring a peated profile — add an extra layer of complexity tailored to lovers of bold, earthy whisky flavours.
Distilled in Scotland and bottled at origin, the Dominance series also sports premium black-and-gold packaging to reflect its elevated positioning within The Glenwalk portfolio.
This expansion comes on the heels of strong performance for the brand, which has already seen impressive sales and distribution growth across India and select global markets — achievements that industry watchers say have helped The Glenwalk carve out a niche among both seasoned drinkers and new whisky enthusiasts.
In the months ahead, The Glenwalk plans to bring the Dominance series to Delhi, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Goa, further broadening its footprint in India’s premium whisky segment with the support of distribution partners like Living Liquidz.
